The most efficient management of the PEU’s financial resources involves creating strategic alliances between the UJI and the most dynamic rural municipalities. These alliances should be grounded on the co-responsibility of both parties and the commitment to work in a process of cultural development in the territory.

The PEU’s ongoing process of review, together with its openness to the shifting circumstances of its environment, give rise to continuous actions and partnerships that result in projects designed to stimulate citizens from a range of perspectives. Working with different groups requires variety of approaches with which to awaken the population’s curiosity to find out about our environment and perhaps understand it, just enjoy it or maybe try to improve it.

PAIS@rural brings together a set of initiatives and projects designed to facilitate information exchange, access to quality education and training, and critical reflection as essential initial stages in any cultural activity, as well as enabling a setting for research on territorial dynamics and the generation of knowledge. Its aim is to support long-term projects in which the most important and valuable aspect is the process rather than short-term results. This service is intended for cultural agents involved in processes of sociocultural development in rural areas.

Dossiers gives a voice to the real players and main assets of development initiatives in the territory. We firmly believe that we can only move forward and consolidate our work on the base of reflection and by building theory from practice. Through Dossiers and group work we foster individual and collective reflection and channel all the critical potential of a diverse and highly qualified group.
